Storyblue status!

I went with my wife to Charleston, SC last week, on an anniversary trip. We also wanted to go somewhere together before our first baby arrives in October, so it doubled as a babymoon :). It was lovely. Nice weather, relaxed, hung out together, walked around a lot, and read books. These are a few of our favorite things.

Yesterday, I upgraded my development software to the next major version (Flex Builder 3 to Flash Builder 4). I’m hoping for thousands of magical performance and beauty increases.

Goals & charts are almost done (famouslastwords); My philosophy is to release these new features quickly and iterate to make them better (with your welcome feedback). So as soon as the basic word-charts and goals are in and tested, I’ll push out a new version. Then I’ll go back and make them better.

If I try to make the feature perfect and complete right off the bat, it’ll be 2 years before you see it, and it won’t be what you want anyway. That’s one of the beautiful things about being a sole developer: I can write, rewrite, release a lot faster than a large company that has such things as “meetings” and “approvals” :).

I’m in a testing and tweaking phase now, and I refuse to let myself tweak too much before letting you guys see it, so be on the lookout for goals and charts soon!
