About us

manythingsblue is a small software/web company run by me, Taylor Campbell.

I love reading (fantasy/sci-fi mainly), and have always wanted to write a novel. Naturally, being a programmer, I tend to procrastinate by coding :). I wrote a simpler version of Storyblue in 2006, called NovelPlanner, in preparation for NaNoWriMo '06. NovelPlanner was useful; it had the index-card planning feel I was looking for, but since release it's been largely untouched, and there were several features I wanted to add. I started Storyblue, using new technology and the four years of experience I'd gained, and it's all-around faster, better, and more powerful.

Storyblue is the writing software I couldn't find anywhere else; it's simple, cross-platform, and doesn't force me into a predefined structure. You can try Storyblue or buy it now!

Personally

On a personal note, I'm married to my best friend, Anya. I'm a Christian. I (informally) play basketball, and table-tennis, and have two over-large cats. I read Neil Gaiman, China Mieville, Gene Wolfe.
